The castle has one of the most distinguished formal French gardens. The beautiful lush gardens are lines with symphony of fountains. The team who put their efforts in creating these majestic gardens included Nicolas Fouquet, André Le Notre, Charles Le Brun and Louis Le Vau. Later on Louis XIV hired the same team for the gardens of the Palace of Versailles.

The carriage museum contains the vintage carriages from the 17th century and onwards. You can see a wide collection of beautiful carriages kept in their perfect forms. In the other half of the museum, horse equipment such as clamping jaws, harness and sweat scrapers are put to display.
